The Mop
I have never had a mop that I like. Does anyone else feel the same? They NEVER work good enough for me. Is it too much to ask to be able to get the floor squeaky clean without having to get down on my knees? I have a swiffer mop that is good for making the floor 'look' like it's clean and for getting off surface dirt and making me feel like I at least 'attempted' to clean the floor. I would really like a mop that scrubs and then sucks up the watery crud and then santitizes. Ya, does that exist? I'll ask google.

I went to a class on cleaning your house at Education Week. It was taught by 2 professional cleaners. They both said the best mop you can buy/use is one with a microfiber pad that can be removed and tossed in the washer. They gave out the name of the best one made. I don't have it with me, but I can email it to you from home. They said it costs about 20.00 and there is no other mop like it out there. They both ranted and raved about microfiber mops saying the absorb 7 times their size in water, clean the best, and then can be tossed in the washer to be cleaned. I'd love one!!! I'll email you the info.
I would love that information myself. I am a Swiffer user and I love it for a quick clean up, but the heavy duty cleaning calls for something a little stronger.
