I LOVE this song... (wait for the key change... YESSSS, so good!)
I'm not afraid to admit that... Fran has a big crush on Adam Levin.
HAHAHAHAHA! Fran's gonna die when she reads this. (only because it's true).
And there are no repercussions because she is... blogless. Hehe!

Let me just say...
Our 'Caller ID' through Qwest is costing us $8.50/month!!!!! IS IT WORTH IT?
I just cannot decide... but I'm leaning towards yes.

Meet the Robinsons
Well, if you don't cry during that movie then... (I actually didn't cry but MAN,...... WHAT A GOOD MESSAGE!) Watch it. Love it. Feel Good. Keep Moving Forward.

Google Quotes
Do you have iGoogle? Let me just say that iGoogle is THE BEST!
I love their quotes. The quote from today...
"I hate television. I hate it as much as I hate peanuts. But I can't stop eating peanuts."
- Orson Welles
Why do I feel like I relate to that quote so well?
I HATE TV..................................................................... but I love it!

Happy Thoughts...
Free blu-ray movie rentals at Hollywood video all month. This makes me REALLY REALLY happy.
And that's it. This is pretty much the most exciting thing going on in my life right now. But is that not fantastic? Tonight we're watching "21". Last night?... "Pirates of the C III". Night before?... "Nim's Island". (we actually haven't been watching them night after night in succession... but it sounds good for dramatic effect). What should we get next? I vote "Juno" or "Meet the Robinsons" or "Kung Fu Panda". Interesting how many good movies we've missed at the Box Office. I, personally, don't want to miss "Mamma Mia" on the big screen. I bet the Gainesville girls are going, aren't you? I knew it! It's just like you guys to go to a fabulous girl movie like that.

Dear Beautiful Evan
It's 4:30am in the morning and I can't sleep. I can't stop thinking about dear, beautiful Evan. Evan is our Stake President's son (our Stake President when we were in Florida). My good friend, Amber, used to watch Evan on Tuesday morning's while his mom taught Joy school. When Amber started taking her daughter, Reese, to speech therapy, I was able to fill in for her. Evan and Amber's daughter, Ivy, spent one hour with us every Tuesday morning for a few short weeks. This was a wonderful blessing for me. It was back in February when I was struggling and felt very alone. I was glad to have their company and glad to have an excuse to see Amber (although I know she would've come over every day if I'd asked her to). It's so interesting the ways that God finds to help us out. I'm sure Amber thought she was 'inconveniencing' me. I'm just so grateful she was around.
Dear Evan drowned on Sunday night. He was a little older than Bryson. He was called home. I know he's feeling peace and happiness. I can see his face right now, smiling and laughing. He was a big boy, able to stuff half a sandwhich in his mouth at once. He was so sweet and I'm so glad I got to care for him for a little while.
I wish I could be there. I wish I could comfort... someone. I know that God will find ways to help those in need - probably ways we wouldn't think about. I'm so thankful for my beautiful children and that God has allowed me to hug and kiss them a little while longer.
I'm really not sure if I should publish this post... but I suppose I will anyway. I think I just need to get it out of my system so I'll stop crying and go to sleep... Please, God, bless Evan's family and all his friends and all those involved. Please comfort them and be with them...

Busy Busy
I've been working on these curtains forEVER. 9 foot tall curtains are hard to come by so instead I went and got a Target special, bought one extra curtain, cut it up and hemmed it to the bottoms of the other ones. Usually this type of 'adventure' ends up in disaster but I'm actually quite pleased with the way things turned out... (I'm positively in love with this silvery blue-ish hue)

The one thing Bryan wanted when he graduated was NCAA College Football '09 (PS3 game) since he'd finally have some time to play it. And you can't play a PS3 game without a PS3 and you can't have a PS3 without a big, huge, freakin' TV...
The little black shelves and 2 black consoles are my attempt to copy this Pottery Barn picture (still a work in progress)...
At Pottery Barn it would've cost $1,110
From Taipan & BedBath&Beyond?... $260
Putting it together all by myself?... Priceless!
Bryson obviously doesn't think the TV's big enough...
And this is my last project that ended up being SUCH A PAIN... but somehow turned out quite well... they are black wooden boxes to cover the DISH reciever and PS3 (part of my ongoing attempt to make this huge TV look classy).
Note to self: do not buy cheap wood next time. Glue, not screws. If you want it to be exaclty straight buy your own saw and cut it yourself. Live close to a Home Depot... like next door. Probably never attempt to do this again.

UNBELIEVABLE
I just now watched the men's 400 meter freestyle relay race. INCREDIBLE! You must watch it. (couldn't find it on Youtube) We (the Americans) were behind by what seemed like 3 WHOLE FEET for the last 2 laps and in the last like 2 seconds of the race, literally 15 feet from the goal, Bernard closes in and we beat the French by 8/100ths of a second. A-MAZING. Our favorite part is listening to the announcers FREAK OUT and Michael Phelps' reaction (depicted below). Actually, this pic below is Phelps looking at the clock right after Bernard finishes to see if they won or not. CHECK OUT THAT FACE! The intensity.

Clarification
I think I need to clarify that although we were in line at 8am to get our Breaking Dawn wristbands we then went home... all day... and didn't come back until 9:30pm that night for the party and actually didn't get into the 'other' line until 11:30pm. So, basically I was in line for not even 2 hours total.
Or, perhaps I should just go ahead and let you believe that I was in line for 16 hours from 8am - 12am. ( :

Breaking Dawn Party Pictures
Here we are in line at Barnes & Noble. This would be 8 in the morning (Dacia was there at 6am saving us a spot). We were 2nd in line (the second 'groupie') which means, therefore, that we got 'A' wristbands which means we got our books at approximately 12:05 am that night ahead of hundreds of screaming 14 year old girls. (hehe) Hey, if you're going to do it at all, do it well.
(Angie, Cyndi, Alyssa, Me, Dacia, other girls I don't know)
And here we are at the party minutes before we got our 'Edward' frothy and headed to the 'midnight line' which we were, of course, at the very front. Good times!!!

Where do you prefer to nap? Care for a Turkey Croissant Melt?
Where do you prefer to nap? I prefer halfway on the tile and halfway on the carpet, juice close by, and one hand pushing the music button on my bus toy...
I also prefer the ottoman since there won't be too many more years that I'll be able to fit on this thing (once again juice close by)...
Introducing the Turkey Croissant Melt... it's melty (that's food garb for DELICSH! From Heidi R.
Dear Melanie

Southwestern Cobb Salad
Our Little Family Happenings
Other happenings... below is a pic of our guest room that they tore up to get to the pipe under our house that was "missing". Yes, that would be foundation that they're drilling into. Two hours later there was a guy standing in that whole neck deep. Today our house is completely back to normal. ENCE is amazing. I've heard they're a little spendy but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! While they were at it they fixed all our door frames and touched up any smudge or cracks in the wall. They get an A++.
My totally hot, fabulous husband
I can say that because I'm in love with him...
He passed his boards. Meaning... he's all grown up. He goes to work and everything.
It's AWESOME!!! Money keeps showing up in our bank account. He comes home from work and asks what we want to do that evening. All I can do is get that funny look on my face and say, "what?" Life beyond school is totally and utterly fabulous. (big, long sigh)
Did I ever tell you that I am in love? dang, I'm mushy today.

What Planet are you from?
Some people DID NOT love it! I'm trying to come up with explanations for this...
I'm from another planet... that's the only explanation I can come up with.
I do know a few other people from the same planet I am so I'm not alone.
Which planet are you from? Planet 'Loved Breaking Dawn' or planet 'not loved it'?
Just curious!
I do realize there are lots of other planets out there like planet 'Stephanie Meyer who?' or planet 'Harry Potter only' but I only want to know about the two 'said' planets above.
