- showered (it had been a good 48 hours)
- booked a hair consultation
- went to Barnes & Noble (gawked at the cookbooks for an hour)
- went to Jimmy Johns
- purchased a donut
- drove home happy
... Decidedly a must.
...I looked through it and determined... worth every penny.
...A checkout line impulse (I seem to have a problem with that). Delicious!
Jimmy Johns #12: The Beach Club (the best sandwich ever made). Consists quite simply of this... French bread, smoked turkey breast, provolone cheese, avocado spread, sliced cucumber, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and Hellman's mayo. I'm sure I will try to replicate it when I move somewhere that doesn't have a JJ.
Bryan is quite decidedly... a hero!!!!
Other thoughts swimming around...
- Did not love 'Becoming Jane'. Love story not believable. Did Jane Austen really never marry? (As you can see... watching Jane Austen makes you use words like... decidedly.)
- 'Confessions of Fitzwilliam Darcy'! Hmmmmmmm! No explanation needed. Thanks Lis.
- Uncle Mike's Gourmet Spaghetti. (Thanks Amy). Sounds INCREDIBLE! And what wouldn't with 17 ingredients. Can't wait to test it out.
- I'm leaving Gville in about 2 weeks. Lets go to dinner everyone. Thursday at 8?

What a sweetheart Bryan is. You deserve it, totally! Can't wait to get you closer so I can borrow your cookbooks. ;)
Dang, I just rented Becoming Jane and was hoping it would be fantastic.
sorry you've had one of those days but it sounds like you were able to get out & have some "me" time. yay for bryan! and what are those m&m's? never heard of that flavor but i'm sure gonna try it now!
It's not true what everyone says about Bryan, he *is* a great guy! j/k ;)
Would love to see you while you are out here. Maybe we can get some of us and go to lunch/dinner.
I am sure we could talk Sarah and Hanna into going. Maybe even Stacey and Hali!
Marie It's so sad to know you were having one of those days. Lately they are all like that for me, but hopefully I will get over this funk right! Lets just hope, anyway Im sure you have tons on your plate but if you ever want to bring the boys over and swim just call me.
Good news. St. George has 2, yes TWO, Jimmy John's. Perry and I went for the first time a couple weeks ago. There is also one just a couple minutes away in Washington as well! WOO HOO! Incidentally, I think I had that very sandwich that you mentioned. It was good!
oh yeah where is this JJ's place? It sounds good, I haven't lived here long enough to know the hot spot's. Plus I am kind of a home body
thank goodness for understanding husbands.
We ate at a Jimmy Johns in St. George. Hmmm. Sounds even better now?
No Jane Austen never did get married...
