I love Pyzam. They have fantastic blogger backgrounds. Since my recipe blog and wishlist blog don't have very many widgets on them, I use them to experiment with Pyzam backgrounds. Has anyone figured out yet how to put a Pyzam background on without losing all your widgets? I'm sure I could figure it out if I was 'html' fluent.
As you can see my new background is the extremely new and fantastic (sarcasm) minima dark. My attempts to create a fabulous, uniquely me background always spiral into an embarassing spectacle of unmatching colors, uneven patterns, and hours of wasted time. (sigh)

I don't know how to change background without losing widgets, either, so what I do is open a text document, and copy the contents of each widget (HTML codes) into it. Then when the new background is installed, it only takes me a few minutes to recreate my widgets.
Wow, Amy, thanks!
BTW, I devoted a good hour and a half and couldn't figure out how to input my widgets into a Pyzam code correctly. My brain isn't deciphering html very well. BLAH!
